The house

Ca' laRipa was built in 1791 by one of our ancestors, Giovanni Ranzanici, on the hill above Lake Iseo, and it has never left the family since.
On the first floor of the main house there are two apartments, Palazzo and Panorama. Next to it, joined to the main house and part of the same complex, is Casa Terrazza, larger and with its own entrance, for those staying at least a month. We have changed as little as possible: the terracotta floors, the painted ceilings and many pieces of furniture are the original ones.
We live in the annexe next door: we welcome you when you arrive and are here throughout your stay.
Accommodation
Two apartments and a house
The Palazzo and Panorama apartments are on the same floor of the main house and are modular: depending on the time of year they are let with one or two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, for 2 nights or more. Book them together and the main house is all yours. Casa Terrazza, joined to the main house but self-contained, is let for 31 nights or more.

The lake comes in through the living-room windows and stays with you all day, from the first coffee to the evening.

A house all to yourselves, with its own terrace over the lake: for those who want to live here for a season.

In front of the house a large private lawn opens out among the trees, enclosed and quiet: children play there safely, with the balls and games we provide, while parents relax on the sun terrace, with its tables and parasols looking out over the lake and the mountains.
Guests in the Palazzo and Panorama apartments share the garden, the sun terrace and a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer; the car stays under cover, inside the property. Book the two apartments together and all this is yours alone. Along the base of the house runs the arched veranda, now covered in wisteria and oleanders.
Casa Terrazza leads a life of its own: it has a separate entrance from the street, its own laundry and a private terrace with a gazebo, also overlooking the lake.
The house is on the hill, away from the lakeside traffic: you can hear the birds, and in the evening the lights of the villages are reflected in the water. Here you arrive, slow down and rest.
